Decode my radio unit

This question was asked by
Orman

The radio unit states code entered to many times which I cannot remove .
Nissan Qashqai 61 plate .
Can you help to remove this writing and get the code for my car ,

I can certainly help you with your Nissan Radio Reset after too many incorrect codes, but I would first need to know which make and model you have fitted, and the Qashqai came with dozens of audio options and I have no idea which one you are referring to. Let me know and then I can point you in the right direction.

Alfa Romeo Mito

This question was asked by
jesus angel LOPEZ MOLPECERES

hola;donde localizo para obtener el codigo de radio de un alfa romeo mito del 2009,gracias

You will need to remove the Alfa Romeo Mito radio to access the label on the side of it that contains the information required to decode it. Once you have identified your radio, you can then match the make, model and part number on our website and it will show you what information we then need to supply your code number.

I hope that you can help with a query, I need to disconnect the battery on my car, which is fitted with a Panasonic CQ-C1100VN radio, is it necessary to enter a code when reinstating the power supply?
Many thanks
Barry Wells

Panic not, the Panasonic CQ-1100VN is not a coded radio, so there should be no problems in disconnecting the battery

Rover R660 Radio

This question was asked by
MARK WINN

Hi I have a Rover R660 radio cassette . The unit will not accept the original security code so I think it has been recoded in the past . The radio is not locked, Please can you let me know if you can retrive/recode and costs. Thanks Mark

Mark, given the age of the Philips R660 it is not impossible that it has been repaired or recoded in the past, but that is not a problem for us as we can manually reset the radio back to its original code if sent to us – details are here  https://www.dndservices.co.uk/codelocked-arcodelocked.html  A word of caution though, those units are prone to the fascia buttons not responding, so if that is your problem, please let us know and we can advise further

Blaupunkt Radio code

My Blaupunkt Carolina DJ50 radio is locked and I don’t know the code.
Can you get the code for me ?

Obtaining the code for the Blaupunkt Carolina is not a problem if you follow this link.

https://www.dndservices.co.uk/blaupunkt-carolina-dj50.html

If you have previously entered the wrong number and the radio is locked, then leave it switched on with the ignition on and it should reset after 2 hours. If it does not reset after this time, then please let me know.

Can stolen Car Stereos be Decoded?

Chris T asked;

Can stolen Car Stereos be Decoded?

Yes! There is nothing to prevent a Stolen Car Stereo from being Decoded.

So don’t be surprised if we ask you to prove ownership of the Radio. We have a very close rapport with both the local and national Police, and often check up on reported serial numbers. We have identified lots of stolen Radios to date, assisted with many prosecutions, and we always pass on information to the Police if we are at all suspicious.

If you suspect that your Radio may have previously been stolen, it may be very unwise to send it to us! If you have had a Stereo stolen, and you have the full model number, serial number, Police crime number, and can prove ownership with receipts, then please E-Mail us with your details, and we will add them to our own Database. Because we cover the UK and most of Europe with our Services, there is a good chance that we may even find it via another Car Audio Dealer sending it in for Decoding, unaware of its history! When we do find them, we always pass on the information to the local authorities.
